Official boundaries load automatically from bush-forever-sites.geojson
(the SPP 2.8 Bush Forever Areas / DPLH-054 layer from WA's Data WA / SLIP platform,
covering all 287 regionally significant bushland sites on the Swan Coastal Plain) if that
file is present alongside this page — otherwise use the upload zone above.
That official layer doesn't include a development-threat or significance rating, so the
colour grading here is a size percentile computed from each polygon's
geometry — a reasonable proxy (bigger intact remnants are usually more ecologically
valuable) but not an official measure of risk.
The cream-ringed circles are a separate, editable layer pulled from a linked Google Sheet
(see the "Community-reported threats" section above) — a place to log sites you or others
want to flag that aren't in the official dataset, each with a self-assigned threat level.
